The Engineering Department at Parker Fabrication has extensive capabilities in order to provide customers with design options and support for new product. We are a trusted partner for continuous improvement of existing products, cost reduction initiatives, reverse engineering and the development of new products.

Engineers at Parker Fabrication create complex 3D models with software like Creo Parametric (Pro-E) and have the ability to import customer models from Solidworks, Seimens NX, Inventor, STEP files, and other engineering software. The software outputs detailed assembly models that allow Parker Fabrication Engineering to develop tailor-made processes and procedures for a customer product. This design process results in a customer product that meets or exceeds customer functionality, quality, and delivery requirements.
The NDI OptiTrack Vision System, utilizing Polywords software, allows Parker Fabrication to probe and laser scan customer provided products to measure the relevant features and extract them into the 3D world. This capability can be used to duplicate tubes, tube assemblies, castings with non-uniform surfaces, machined components, and many more products into 3D models.
The Parker Fabrication Reverse Engineering process is integrated with customer feedback. Communication with the customer is a key focus in this process to ensure the resulting design will meet the customer requirements. Once the design is in place, engineering is able to optimize the manufacturing process resulting in lightning fast turnaround times, and a product of the best quality that meets or exceeds all customer expectations.
